Our services and expertise includes: Assessment and analysis of existing conditions and preparation of Historic Resource Surveys and Historic Structure Reports. Understanding and applying the Secretary of Interior’s Standards during design and implementation to guide appropriate work and meet funding and tax credit requirements. Code analysis utilizing the Michigan Rehabilitation Code to best guide projects with flexible and cost-saving upgrade solutions. Comprehensive architectural services including schematic design; preparation of construction documents, including CAD drawings and specifications; and construction observation services. Working with a team of experienced engineers to appropriately upgrade and sensitively incorporate new mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems into existing buildings. Upgrading existing buildings creatively to respectfully accommodate handicapped accessibility. Research of funding sources and assistance with preparation of grant applications. Schematic Design and detailed code analysis for the restoration of the historic Keefer Hotel in downtown Hillsdale, Michigan. Exterior Sandstone Repairs at the historic Port Huron Federal Building.
